Who is Manu Manjil? (परिचय)
He is a contemporary Nepali poet. His name is written मनु मन्जिल in Nepali sources, and readers also search मनु मंजिल. He should not be confused with the poet Manjul (Meghraj Sharma Nepal).
Life and work (जीवनी र कृति)
According to Onlinekhabar, he teaches in Itahari. His poetry collection Lamp-postbata Khaseko Joon (ल्याम्प–पोस्टबाट खसेको जून), "The Moon Fallen from the Lamp-post", was launched by the publisher FinePrint. In June 2026 he gave a solo poetry recitation in Kathmandu. He has also been part of a SAARC festival of young poets.
Why he is here
A list of Nepali poets that stops at the famous dead is not a list of Nepali poetry. Contemporary poets are part of the literature now, and a reader searching for them should find something accurate, even if it is short. This page will grow as more is published about his work.
